Asbury Hills Methodist Camp
Asbury Hills Methodist Camp is located just north of Pickens, on US 276, known as the Brevard Highway. Grace has had close ties to this camp by sending campers, counselors and working on camp improvements throughout the years.
At the present time the Missions Committee and ADVIM (Anderson District Volunteers in Mission) are doing remodeling and an addition to the Cooks Cabin, across the road from the dining hall. The camp director and cook live there full time during the summer. More help is needed for building a retaining wall, painting, window replacement, building a closet and cleanup. Saturday, August 4 was a Grace Workday for Asbury Hills on this project.
Cooks Cabin
Grace has helped with other ADVIM projects at Asbury Hills. The Marvin Gravely Sunday School Class helped to update the bathhouse. Church members also built shelves for the cabins and assisted in making signs for trails.

August 4, 2007 Workday
Grace volunteers spent 8 hours installing 4 new windows, knocking out a
wall, painting and updating the cooks cabin. Danny Thompson (of Anderson),
Ken Lowe, Chuck and Diane Crosson, Jerry and Diana Hancock, Dale Harward,
Autumn Mathis, Jeremiah Brown and Charlie Wolfe worked on this project most of
the day.
