Congratulations go to....
-Nancy Ford, who was chosen as Employee of the Year for 2008 in Region One of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services! Region One consists of Pickens, Anderson, Oconee, Greenville, Laurens, Newberry, Greenwood, Edgefield, Saluda, Lexington, McCormick and Abbeville counties! Way to go Nancy!!!
Summer Workers......
-Carolyn Rivers will be Assistant Program Director at Asbury Hills Methodist Camp. Carolyn is a junior at Wofford College and has been in Costa Rica studying (Sister Elizabeth is a junior at Colgate University, and has been studying in Wales).
-Beth Wolfe will be music programmer at Asbury Hills. Beth is a sophomore at University of South Carolina.
-Autumn Mathis will be on the staff as counselor. Autumn is a freshman at Winthrop University.
Graduated....
-Lori Hendricks has her
nursing degree from Greenville Technical College! She was 'pinned' on March 19!
She's working part-time at Cannon Hospital! Congratulations Lori! Lori will
continue her education at Clemson University.
-Jennifer Strange finished her nursing degree at Greenville
Technical College in December and now is in the work force at Palmetto Baptist Hospital in
Easley. Congratulations Jennifer! Jennifer has also announced her engagement to
Levi Reed!
-Nickole Brown graduated from Anderson University
in December!
Professorship....
-Elizabeth Snipes received her Masters of Fine Arts degree at Clemson University in December. She has been teaching painting and drawing classes at Clemson and Tri-County Tech since her graduation. She has recently been hired by Missouri State University to become Assistant Professor of Fine Arts for painting and drawing. She will begin this position in August at the Springfield, Missouri campus. Way to go Elizabeth!
-Jessica Snipes graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in art management. She is administrative assistant to the president of the Ben Silver Collection Company in Charleston. This is a catalog sales company for upscale clothing. An order came in recently from the White House for gold cufflinks! Jessica keeps in touch with people in high places!
Recuperating from surgery....
-Sissy Holler is home now after having major surgery in Rock Hill. Her mother is staying with her to aid in her recovery.
