Grace has 2 Sunday morning worship services. A nursery is provided at all services!
Contemporary Worship begins at 8:30AM. This takes place in the fellowship hall. Music is lead by the Worship Team and worship leader. Modern songs are sung using the overhead screen. This 45 minute service is more relaxed.
Following the 8:30 service is a 15 minute fellowship time in the fellowship hall - meet and greet with coffee, juice and snacks served.
Sunday School starts at 9:30AM. Classes for all ages are located throughout the building.
The traditional worship service begins at 10:30AM. This takes place in the sanctuary using a more formal style of worship. Hymns are sung using the United Methodist Hymnal, accompanied by a piano and/or organ. The worship choir provides music each Sunday in their anthems. The Children's Choir, Youth Bells and Bells of Grace provide music periodically. The same sermon is delivered at both services.
Hearing assisted devices are available to use in the sanctuary. Just ask an usher in the back. CDs of the traditional service are made each week. They are found in the communications center of the church office.
Holy Communion is observed once a month, in both services. Grace has an open communion, open to all believers of Christ.
Special services are held throughout the year for special occasions - Ash Wednesday , Maundy Thursday, Good Friday/Tenebrae, Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion, and revivals. Grace also participates with churches in the Pickens Ministerial Community with a Community Thanksgiving Service and noon Lenten Services.
